Had a tough day on the water today. Got a late start, wind was blowing pretty good and did not have much time on the water. We launched out of Tracy Oasis and stayed relatively close to the launch. We tried to get out of the wind and fished around Coney Island, ran up Victoria to Union Point area, and back to the doc by 3. Got a few swirls on Frogs but no serious takers. Fished jigs, flipped around cover, shallow cranked some rocks and grass lines, spinner baits in the weeds and finished up with a Drop Shot. Unfortunately this day we did not figure out what the fish wanted.
If fisherman tell ya they never have a bad day on the water, they either are full of it, or just don’t spend that much time on the water. Anyways, the awesome thing about fishing and incredible body of water like the California Delta is ya never know,.. that next bite could be a personal best and fish of a lifetime!
